When did you first get into drawing?

I began to paint since my childhood, more or less doodling on the textbook. It was my little hobby.

Children are honest and calm, where being recognised by friends meant a lot larger than receiving credits from the society or grownups. A boy who painted well among friends has become a painter.

Why did you choose to make fashion part of your  inspiration?

I paint in a relatively dark and small studio, but I feel like I'm being active outside in the course of painting. I am delighted to draw people in clothes that express their own beauty and confident expressions.

What is your particular working day as a creative?

I set some rules. Even though I identify myself as an artist, I don';t think my personal life has to be so. First rule, I do at least one drawing a day.

Second, no matter how well I do, I finish painting and leave for home at 7pm. I believe these rules of life have made me go long and far with my painting.

What tools do you use when creating your images?

Watercolour has purity and deepness. Have long been fascinated by the fact that watercolour painting has to be very speedy after a longtime sketch in my head.

Who are what has influenced you over the years as an artist?

I adore Haruki Murakami. Even though he is a writer, I deeply respect him for his attitude and sincereness as a creator. His style of writing never be boring even by  repeated reading nor provoking either, which is what I have been pursuing to be. I feel differently every time I read his books no matter he ever meant or not at the first place. That would be the creativity of an infinite world.

What advice do you have for younger artists looking to be part of this industry?

I would say.. 'Talk to the people around you about art. We tend to be afraid to talk about things we don't know.

But art does not necessarily require professional  understanding and education. Let's talk and share what we see and feel.

It will make our lives a little richer.'

What are you drawing today? Music are you listening to? Books that you are reading? Favourite artist/designer at the moment?

I read Haruki Murakami's books and listen to Chet Baker's music. Their music and novels are ageless, thus I do listen and read them repeatedly.
