Laora Laolina

Biography

"My name is Laora Laolina, I'm 30 years and I live in Belgium, with Italian roots that bring a touch of sunshine and plenty of passion into my creative world.

Before becoming an illustrator, I spent 7 years studying sewing and then 3 years in fashion school to become a stylist, exploring construction, fabrics, and the art behind beautifully crafted garments.

Since I was little, I’ve been sketching silhouettes, imagined fabrics, and outfits that come to life on paper. Today, I work both digitally and traditionally — Procreate, watercolor, markers, pencil — and I love mixing mediums and letting ideas flow freely.

In 2025, I had the pleasure of participating in the 11th FIDA Edition, where I was honoured to finish as a finalist in the Best Digital Fashion Illustration category — a milestone that continues to inspire my creative journey.

Digital illustration gives me precision, bold color control, and the freedom to create high-impact visuals perfect for editorial content or campaigns. Traditional drawing brings me back to the joy of paper, spontaneous gestures, and that tactile, intimate connection with the subject.

These two worlds shape my style: colorful, elegant, emotional, and always a bit dreamy. I love creating fashion illustrations that tell a story — sometimes soft, sometimes daring, but always full of character.

Welcome to my world, where fashion is a playground and illustration is a celebration of creativity"
