When did you first get into drawing?

Basically, since I have memory. My mom used to paint all the time, I believe I have just followed her steps.

Why did you choose to make fashion part of your inspiration?

When I was around 14 years of age, I used to read a lot of mangas and my favourite artist was Ai Yazawa. She studied as a Fashion Designer at the beginning of her career and her mangas were full of fashion references and amazing illustrations of clothes and accessories. Since then I decided I wanted to be part of that world.

What is your particular working day as a creative?

I work as a Fashion Designer for a company in London. It has been over a year since I have been working from home so I mainly spend my time between my phone and my computer. I try to dedicate a couple of hours a day and most of my weekends making illustrations.

What tools do you use when creating your images?

I do a lot of research at first, my phone is always full of screenshots or images taken from websites, books, from the street...basically everywhere. I used to draw a lot using Promarkers and coloured pencils at the beginning of my career but I must admit, since I have had my iPad pro I became more of a digital artist.

Who are what has influenced you over the years as an artist?

I could make some names, but it would be unfair to all the rest of the artists who have inspired me all over my career. I love art, in all its shapes and forms, and every artist that crossed my path in a way or another, left a piece of them in my work.

What advice do you have for younger artists looking to be part of this industry?

Not everyone has an easy journey, it doesn't mean it won't be worth the ride. Don't stop on what you are doing, if it makes you feel good. Art has no limits :)

What are you drawing today? Music are you listening to? Books that you are reading? Favourite artist/designer at the moment?

Actually, I'm currently also studying to be a 3D Designer. I am spending my days watching tutorials, following great 3D artists and working on CLO3D. It's mind blowing.

I am currently listening to a Liquid DnB playlist and reading books about pattern cutting and draping.
