When did you first get into drawing?

I've always loved to draw. From early childhood. In 2018 I started painting professionally.

Why did you choose to make fashion part of your inspiration?

Fashion carries a powerful charge of beauty. It gives free rein to fantasise and create a festivity. I'm looking for a beauty everywhere, and there is so much of it in fashion industry.

What is your particular working day as a creative?

I try to paint every day. Actually  I don't like weekends, because I have to draw less)

I usually wake up early in the morning and do some preparations for the illustration. It takes a lot of  time: thinking over an idea, colours, composition. I select the necessary information to work. And in the afternoon I start drawing directly. But thoughts of artistic endeavours are around the clock in my mind )

What tools do you use when creating your images?

Due to my love of experiments I use all my tools periodically. Most of the time I prefer mixed media painting technique. I combine acrylic paints and coloured pencils., water colour and graphite., or all together. I adore working with negative space and fast line. I pay great attention to the choice of paper. Most of all I like  painting on a high-density cotton paper. I also work with Adobe Fresco and Procreate. But even in the apps  I try to be true to the traditional material effects because to give a sense of vivid texture is very important for me.

Who are what has influenced you over the years as an artist?

Cinema has a huge impact on me, I tune in to the mood I need for creativity.

The artists I am fond of are a lot of them and they are completely different. From Botticelli, Van Gogh, Picasso and Dali to the pioneers of fashion illustration Erte, Bakst.

Travelling and new experiences are very inspiring, I love the museums and also love unusual books.

What advice do you have for younger artists looking to be part of this industry?

Listen to your inner voice. Believe in yourself and your abilities. Surround yourself with people who can support you. Learn constantly.

What are you drawing today? Music are you listening to? Books that your are reading?

Favourite artist/designer at the moment?

Nowadays I work on a series of personal illustrations, hone my style. I rarely listen to music, mostly soundtracks.

Now I am reading  the book "Sergei Diaghilev. "Russian Seasons" forever" by Sheng Scheyen. I also learn the Itten's works on form and colour.

At present  it is amazing to watch the artistic endeavours of Dries Van Noten, Iris Van Herpen and Daniel Roseberry for Schiaparelli.
