Biography
I have been obsessed with drawing for as long as I can remember and linked fashion and drawing together since I was a little girl. After studying Fashion Design at Newcastle Polytechnic in the late 80’s and working for some years as a clothing designer, circumstance helped me to decide to pursue a career in the thing I loved most – Illustrating
I mainly work digitally, mixing conventional drawing techniques with new technologies. Like fashion, my style is constantly evolving and moving forward. Teamed with my passion for drawing bold, strong characters, and my knowledge of garment drape and fabrication, I aim to create work that makes the viewer stop, take notice and smile.
