Biography
Ashley Urban is an American illustrator and purveyor of style based in Los Angeles. Her artwork is influenced by a profound love of vintage glamour, fashion and femininity. She's blended these passions into a portfolio of self-taught fashion and beauty illustration as well as novelty surface designs.
Working in both traditional and digital mediums, her art is versatile and fluid; capturing the essence of femininity, romance, timeless elegance, and luxury.
Ashley's art has been featured in galleries and homes across the globe, including the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum in New York City and the Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington D.C. In 2006 she won 1st place nationally, receiving the Scholastics Art and Writing Awards "Gold Key" for her sculpture A Social View of Women.
