Claire Jones

Biography

Claire is an expressive versatile artist specialising in Figurative illustration focusing on fashion and lifestyle. She has a BA Hons in Visual Communication Design/Illustration and works from her Essex studio and at live events.

Colour and texture of line are indicative of Claire's work with bold flowing marks meeting splashes of colour, creating lively and atmospheric illustrations. Both digital and traditional mediums are embraced, often combining the two. Works from studio sessions with Drawing Cabaret Couture have been published in Fab Uk, Goldfoil, Original and Lazin magazines.

Live event illustration work includes backstage and front row at LFW for Fashion Scout. Exhibited figure work has been in the Mall Galleries London, Istituto Marangoni Miami, The Siena Art Institute Italy and numerous exhibitions across Hertfordshire and Essex.

Claire has over 10 years experience working with private clients on bespoke commissions designing and hand painting artworks onto bridal shoes and accessories for her brand Beautiful Moment.

Other creative partnerships include, Arsenal Charitable trust, St Luke’s London and The Harlow Festival.

Private collectors own artworks worldwide and most recently Claire has enjoyed being a visiting lecturer and giving a Fashion illustration workshop at The Cambridge School of Art at Anglia Ruskin University.
