When did you first get into drawing?

When I was working as a motion designer on television, I've noticed that in my free time I like to draw. It was a simple sketches first. But after I found my art mentor, I started to take the painting more seriously and developed my knowledge in some other materials like oils and watercolour.

Why did you choose to make fashion part of your inspiration?

I always like to draw people, human portrait, figure. I admire the beauty of the humans body. And after I joined Stardoll fashion game team as illustrator I realised that there is a big industry out there, that I discovered unexpectedly. I never was a fashion lover or so, but it changed when I started to draw different collections and items for the game. Now I'm in love with the fashion community, it's so supportive for the talents, so inspiring. I love to be a part of it.

What is your particular working day as a creative?

I'm a full-time illustrator, so my working day is limiting with the working hours. So basically I'm concentrate on drawing from 10 a.m up to 6 p.m. During my weekends I have more time for my watercolour paintings, that's why I'm spending several hours with my paper and paints in Saturday or Sunday.

What tools do you use when creating your images?

Mostly liquid watercolour. But sometimes I have a mood to add some ink pencils or markers even.

Who are what has influenced you over the years as an artist?
My mentor. He is a watercolour artist as well. And his love for painting connected with me as well. He gave me not only knowledge, but a lot of inspiration as well.

What advice do you have for younger artists looking to be part of this industry?

Give yourself time to learn new things. A lot of new artists want to have an immediate result, because they see the beautiful artworks of another artists and they want to draw on the high level. But you never start as a professional. You start as a beginner, and, maybe, you'll become a professional after some time and learning. Don't give that pressure for yourself. If you'll learn and practice - your art will become better and better with time. Give yourself this time. Let it be a journey.

What are you drawing today? Music are you listening to? Books that your are

reading? Favourite artist/designer at the moment?

Nowadays my main inspiration is Drawing Cabaret Couture - the club on Patreon for the artist, who love to draw fashion. They are making online drawing sessions each week, and I'm trying to join each of them. It's a good time for practice and sketching.
