Biography

 I always felt it was my mother’s influence that had me fall in love with fashion, clothes, and design at a young age. I did not understand the difference between designing clothes and the illustration back then and it did not really matter, I would entertain myself for hours…. drawing fashion figures . Later when I studied at the HS of Art and Design in NYC, and Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, I began to see that I was more interested in the drawing itself than the design process. While my interests in the media have changed, simply because I love to experiment with this stylised art …my love of illustrating figures in clothes has always remained dearest to me. The unexpected happens every time my brush, pencil or hand touches a blank canvas. I feel the sensuous line , I see shapes, pattern, and colour. It is all abstract until it falls together as a fashion illustration.
