Biography
Fashion illustrator Yuliia Dzhamhurova, an artist currently based in Kyiv, Ukraine, takes as her artistic inspiration all things feminine. From the elements of beauty to the clean lines of fashion, Dzhamhurova focuses on such themes as a means to unite past, present, and future in engaging visual dialogue. She also sees her art as a way of encouraging others to take the plunge into creative practice, wherever it might lead.
Having graduated from Khmelnitsky Art School in 1998, Dzhamhurova has since contributed to several notable projects over the course of her career thus far. These include a series of portraits of famous stylists for publishing in an editorial story in Milk X Magazine (Hong Kong). She also created personalised brochure designs for Marittimo Italian Clothing, collaborated with Gen Woo kids fashion brand, with the denim Swiss online store, and enjoyed the publications of her works in British Vogue. She also participated in the "Fine Appearances" Fashion illustration exhibition which started in Haze Gallery, Berlin and in Boomer Gallery "Vogue" exhibition - First Edition show in London.
